You’ve got a way of delivering your lines that make them feel like every word is specifically for the listener. It’s a special thing.
— Tommy Faith, triple j

Lucy Parle is a melodic singer songwriter whose timeless sound will appeal to fans of Kasey Chambers or Kelsea Ballerini, or The Chicks or Fleetwood Mac.

Lucy has had early success as a teenage songwriter, chalking up accolades at the Australian Songwriters Awards and taking out first place in the coveted International Songwriting Competition (ISC) winning the Teen Category in 2020. Recognised as a standout performer in triple j’s Unearthed High, Lucy was chosen as a spotlight artist in their 2021 yearbook.

Building on these songwriting achievements, Lucy took a conscious step back and has spent the last couple of years working behind the scenes to develop her sound and establish her direction as an artist. Since she was 14, Lucy has worked with Gina Jeffreys (Australia’s first female country singer to sell platinum records) and Rod McCormack (awarded Producer and Musician). In the last 12 months, Lucy and Rod have been collaborating in the studio with songwriters in Australia and Nashville, including Sam Gay, Templeton Thompson and Sally Barris, building a catalogue of songs that tell Lucy’s story and define her sound.

Lucy’s new music sounds incredibly refreshing, leaning on a traditional country landscape, yet pushing the boundaries to stay honest and authentic.
